Rules
.) CWL is a fantasy based internet wrestling game in which you create a wrestler via form submission and live out his/her life in a process called roleplaying, which is basically a writing/storytelling process. CWL accepts "fake"/original/created wrestlers only. Do not submit a real wrestler. Your original wrestler may reflect a real wrestler's gimmick to an extent, however.

.) You may only handle one male and/or one female wrestler if you choose to do so. The only exception is if you are running an angle which requires you to temporarily handle two male or two female wrestlers. The only other exception of course is if you are handling a tag team. If there is enough interest in a tag team division in the CWL, I will definitely create tag team title belts. Currently, the application process is only set up for singles wrestlers. If you would like to handle a tag team, please contact me and I will send you a tag team application. And of course, two singles wrestlers can form a tag team if they would like to.

.) Currently, the CWL has one championship title belt and that is the CWL Championship. If we recruit enough members and there is enough interest, I fully intend on creating one or two more title belts. Also, if there is enough interest, I will create a women's division and title, and a tag divison and title belts.

.) To form a stable you must have three members. A stable cannot have more than five members. (With the possible exceptions.)

.) When submitting your character, you have signed a contract with us, giving us the right to use your character the best way we see fit. You still have the main control over your character and his/her angles and feuds but the goal of the CWL is to put on the best show possible and give the viewers a great story. Usually, we will discuss with you any plans we may have for your character prior to actually going through with those plans. However, on a rare occasion, you may see your wrestler being used during a show in a way in which you did not expect. So, also, always be sure to read the show results completely.

.) Winners of matches are usually determined by a number of factors. One, of course, is roleplaying. Roleplays are judged by quality, not quantity. Two, is by creating angles or storylines that are interesting and make for a good show. Three, is sending in strats. Strats are NOT required and will not usually make too much of a difference in the outcome of a match. You are, however, more than welcome to send in strats if you would like as they may give the match writers a better idea of how to write a match and what you might want to do in a match. Four, is the owner's decision on what he thinks will make a good show. Overall, usually the owner will base wins on roleplays and sometimes angles/storylines, as well. In the CWL, it is not always about wins and losses, but building up feuds and angles, and most importantly, having fun. When judging a match that is real close based on roleplays alone, that is when angles or strats may possibly come into play on deciding a winner. If you are a consistent wrestler, we will put more time and effort into making your character and angles come alive.

.) The CWL Staff makes the final decision on show results. All results will always be fair and unbias. However, if you feel you have been wronged, contact President Stephen Pierce directly first and foremost before complaining to anyone else or on the CWL forums.

.) If you have any kind of "beef" with anyone in the CWL, including me, do not go around complaining but come and talk to me about it. If you don't like the way I am doing something, please come to me about it. I am open to all views and suggestions from everyone. If you have a problem and I see you going around talking trash or trying to start any OOC (out of character) feuds, you will be punished in any way I see fit, which could be anything from a warning to being fired.

.) I do not want to see or hear about any inappropriate OOC comments about the way someone roleplays or anything like that. Everyone has their own style of roleplaying and not everyone is equally skilled at roleplaying. Everyone is still entitled to having fun here in the CWL and everyone will be treated equally. If you want to talk about somebody's roleplaying, give them some positive feedback on how they can improve. There is no need to make fun of anybody's roleplay, in fact, CWL is open to any kind of roleplaying style.

.) If you are scheduled for a match, you are required to roleplay. There will be a deadline for RPing for events. I have yet to decide on a regular deadline time but I will make everyone aware of the deadline for each event as soon as the card is booked. Failure to RP for a match will have consequences, so do not be suprised to see your name no longer on the roster after no-showing an event. If you know you will not have time to roleplay, let me know before the event is booked and make arrangements. Also, try to come up with storylines that will generate heat and make it all fun.

.) We will usually have one event a week. That weekly event is Wednesday Night "Warfare." We may occasionally also have a special small show that we will hold at some point during the week which may or may not result in the cancellation of Warfare that particular week. We will have one Pay Per View either every month or every two months. If time is an issue, we will make plans for the Warfare before or after the PPV prior to the events. Overall, I don't think it will be much of a problem. We welcome for roleplayers to make and send in interviews/promos which will be added to the cards, to make them seem more realistic and to help the angles develop.

.) Don't ever make any kind of use of racism in your roleplays or "on-air" interviews. Explicit language, however, is permitted. Note that the owner has the right to censor any interview/promo that will be used in the show results, but I probably won't, especially if it's pay per view. Also, you may never handle another person's character in your roleplay without their permission.

.) The roleplay board is for roleplays only. The only place I want to see OOC posts is on the OOC board. Failure to comply will result in something you will not like.

.) If you don't like any of these rules, let me know. They are here to simply keep order in the CWL, not to seem harsh or overruling. We are here to have fun. If you like what we're doing, please spread the word about us and maybe the CWL can grow into something even bigger. Thanks for your interest in the CWL and to conclude.. everyone must follow these rules.
